Dr. Myles Neiman
I graduated from The Pennyslvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia in 1987. I have been practicing Optometry at the Pearle Vision in Uniontown since 1997. I am priviledged to have served alongside many wonderful oticians and provided eyecare to many wonderful people over the years. How often I am teased when looking into the the back of someones eyes with a microscope if I can see anything back there! Indeed you can see the retina which is an extension of the cranial nerve II, the optic nerve which then transmits information to the brain. Damage from systemic diseases such as Diabetes and Hypertension that affect peripheral blood vessels and nerves in our bodies likewise can be seen in the blood vessels and nerve tissue of our retinas and optic nerves. It is very important to me to be mindful of doing what is healthy. I am passionate and compassionate about maintaining, preserving and developing the vision of my patients.
